Bobcat Stare
This pen and ink drawing was inspired by the intensity that even the
average house cat can bestow on the unsuspecting mouse. Double matted
with a black core mat, hand stamped leather mat and mounted in a
repurposed frame.
Looking Over the State Line
While spending part of the winter in the Chiricahua Mountains I kept
looking over at the Peloncillo mountain range and thinking about the
Bighorn sheep that live on the rock tops. I drew this little ram
imagining that some days he was looking back across the valley towards
me. The finishing touches to the drawing were done while camping for
night in the Peloncillo's. This is another pen and ink drawing with a
hand stamped leather mat and repurposed frame.
Black Tail Jack
I have always enjoyed watching Jackrabbits. They have an easy lope
that both covers ground and seems to convey their unconcerned nature.
It takes a bit to get one worried and when they are they show it by
flicking first one ear up and the other down and then switching. This
drawing is pen and ink with a black core mat and hand stamped leather
mat mounted in a repurposed frame.
