I dreamt up the idea of making a book series a number of years ago. In between the custom projects that are my bread and butter I was able to dedicate time to the project. These books represent each species found here in Montana and I have attempted to capture a good example of each one. These books are hand tooled and bound using Herman Oak leather and a light green water resistant paper. Each book is a one of a kind functional art piece.

5 3/4 “ Tall by 4 1/2” wide with 96 pages in each book. Traditional book binding method used that allows the books to open flat to any page. Paper is 20lb weight and light green in color and water and stain resistant. Book covers are made of Herman Oak tooling leather in 7-9 oz wight.
